A top end accessory, which gives the musher high security, whether on ice or in a sudden steep descent - the BEWE chain brake system is exceptional.

The manual lever rope is attached to the handlebar with a special bracket. An additional bracket reinforces the brushbow and the chain brakes made of (high strength) special steel are used on both runners.

The chain brake system can be activated and de-activated without stopping the sledge.
